Welcome to my site. My name is TOBIAS GUZURA and my friends call me TOBBIE. I am an outgoing fellow, sociable and very
friendly. I have heard a diversity of descriptions about myself from a variety of friends, pals, acquaintainces and colleagues.
Some say I am reserved, yet others say I am very talkative. What I know is that I am a free man who is ever prepared to get
into a conversation especially academic, intelectual and political/current affairs oriented discourse.
I was born in a family of seven (7), six (6) boys and one (1) girl. I have had my ups and downs in life but the
most defining moments in my life are based on the support that I have always received from my siblings and parents. I come
from a disadvantaged family but they have always strived to provide for my basic needs.
Academically, I have taken the long route to achieve my target. I currently hold a Diploma in Education from the University
of Zimbabwe (attained at Hillside Teachers' College in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe) Oh! by the way, I am Zimbabwean (full stop), I
am worried by issues of ethnicity. I am completing studies for an honours in History and Development Studies with the Midlands
State University in Gweru, Zimbabwe. It is my long term ambition to work for an international agency/organisation in the fields
of Democracy, Human Rights, Peace and Security, International Relations, Children {especially Orphans and Vulnerable Children
(OVC) and Children affected by HIV/AIDS (CABA)}.
I basically need a website because I am interested in research work in my areas of interest. Thus, I hope to use the
site for easy access and communication.
